We maintain strict security procedures to protect customer information. Northeast Bank does not sell, exchange, or share its customer information with outside organizations unless the third party is essential in administering bank business. If you decide to close your account or become an inactive customer, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.

We do not reveal specific information about our customers’ accounts or other personally identifiable data to unaffiliated parties for their independent use, unless (1) our customer has requested it in writing; (2) the information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by our customer; (3) the information is provided to a reputable credit bureau or similar information reporting agency; or (4) disclosure is lawfully permitted or required.

Information we disclose to companies that work for us. We may disclose the information we collect from you to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. We do not provide your personal information to non-bank companies for the purpose of their independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing of any non-financial products or services by those companies. Although, you will not have the option to opt out of this sharing agreement, if we share information with a third party non-affiliated marketing firm to tell you about our new products or services, we will enter into a written agreement with the third party. The agreement will require the third party to maintain the confidentiality of the information in the same manner our bank would and restrict its use.

Keeping accurate records of your information is very important to us. We will respond promptly if we learn of the need for corrections. If you detect an inaccuracy in your statements or in any other communication from us, please contact a personal banker.

Employee access to customer information is restricted to their “need to know” for business reasons. Our Bank maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information. All of our employees are trained to respect customer privacy and are monitored for adherence to our Privacy Policy.
