Debit Card Fraud Center

At Northeast Bank, your security is a top priority. In our continuing efforts to keep your accounts secure, we are improving our alert system for potential debit card fraud. The new system will include actionable emails, texts and automatic phone calls to expedite the identification of fraudulent card transactions.

Here is how our new fraud alert system will work:


1. When potential fraud is detected on your debit card, you will receive an automatic email notification from fraudalerts@northeastbank-mn.com with the option to reply with "fraud" or "no fraud." Click here for an example.

2. One minute after the email, if you have a text-capable phone number on file with us, you will receive a free text alert from 32874, which also has the "fraud" or "no fraud" option. Text messages will only be sent between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. local time for the address we have on file for you. Click here for example text messages with replies.

3. If there is no response received from you five minutes after the text alert, you will receive automatic phone calls to confirm or deny fraud. Calls will only be placed between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. local time for the address we have on file for you. *Please note that the phone number for our Fraud Center has changed to 1-800-417-4592. If you add this number to your phone contacts and label it "NEB Fraud Center," it will display whenever you get a call from this number.
